Circumstances of Finding:
A caretaker of the Birch Hill Free Church of Scotland found Baby Albion wrapped in a blanket beside the church graveyard. They proceeded to contact police.
This incident greatly affected the community of Mount Albion and together they bought a gravestone to honour the unknown baby.
Circumstances of Death:
Cause of death is unknown but being investigated in the same manner as a homicide. There was no signs of trauma on Baby Albion but police think the mother could have injuries resulting from the birth.
There are signs that you can look for if you suspect you may know the mother of Baby Albion: the mother may have been pregnant leading up to April 2015 but returned to her place of residence without a baby and the mother may have had injuries related to childbirth in April of 2015.
Police believe that Baby Albion was cared about because of the manner in which he was wrapped in the frog blanket.
